Skyline Gateway Configuration Guide
Follow the verified steps below to integrate Skyline GSM/VoIP gateways with the Cloudfonica Bandwidth Optimization solution.
Step 1: System Information & Call Status
Access the Skyline gateway web management console. On the initial status overview, confirm call status, SIM card registration, signal strength (RSSI), and LED channel status.
Step 2: Basic Network Configuration
Under the Network settings page, configure the static IP address. Ensure the gateway static IP resides on the same IP subnet as your Cloudfonica optimization instance.
Step 3: SIP Configuration & Server Pairing
Under SIP settings, pair the gateway with the default IP address of the Cloudfonica solution using default SIP signaling port 5060.
Step 4: Codec Priority Ordering
Configure voice codecs: set G.729 and G.723 as first priority to maximize compression efficiency. PCMA and PCMU should remain at lowest priority.
